Kaler on the role of e-learning at the U of Minnesota
Forum question: What’s your vision for e-learning?
It’s probably not as sharp as it should be. We need to evaluate the landscape around e-learning very carefully. A lot of (institutions) have moved very aggressively, and being third or fourth is not the best thing strategically. We need to have an advantage. … We need to know where we can be special — and not just one of a crowd putting lectures on the Web.
